Now a household name, the TV star is happily married and proud to be the father of a child. Her road to love, however, was far from smooth. From being linked to a Pussycat Doll to dating a famous actress, his relationship past is far from boring.

Dec’s first romance in the public eye was Barn Hill actress and childhood sweetheart Clare Buckfield, with the couple who met when they were teenagers. The couple separated in 2003, with Dec blaming their busy schedules for the end of their relationship, Good morning! Magazine reported.
After their split, Dec was linked to stars including TV presenter Sarah Cawood and Sky presenter Diana Stewart, but his next high profile relationship didn’t come until 2009 when he met the presenter of Sky Sports, Georgie Thompson.
After a whirlwind romance, the couple broke up after spending two years together. Speaking after the breakup, Georgie said it had been painful but Dec “wasn’t ready” to settle down.

The Geordie star was also linked to Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts after appearing in the i am a celebrity jungle in 2012. Dec made no secret of his crush on the Pussycat Dolls star, and they were close for some time after the show, with Ashley saying of their romance, “We try to keep her out of sight of the audience. We’re just getting to know each other.”
In 2013, Dec finds love again with his manager of ten years, Ali Astall. Ali was the manager of comedy duo Ant and Dec for over a decade before the couple fell in love.

He previously said they had always been close but had been hesitant to start a relationship because of work, and admitted they used to hang out for Valentine’s Day dinners when they were all together. two bachelors.
Dec popped the question in November 2014 after just a year of dating, and they tied the knot the following August, with double act partner Ant as a witness. They are now parents to Isla, who was born in September 2018.
