Integrated network solutions provider, Arc Solutions has signed an agreement with APAC on-demand, data center and cloud connectivity provider, DCConnect, to radically simplify the way users around the world connect in the Middle East . With this agreement, Arc joins DCConnect’s ecosystem of over 1,000 points of presence (PoPs) worldwide and will showcase its services through DCConnect’s global platform.
This integration between the two companies will create seamless connectivity in their territory. DCConnect can now extend its reach into the Middle East through Arc’s low-latency, terrestrial network, and integrate Arc’s services into its platform for end-to-end automated service delivery. DCConnect offers bi-directional inter-carrier Software Defined Network (SDN) orchestration through API integration and a Data Center Interconnect (DCI) marketplace.
“It is exciting to see connectivity to major digital hubs in the Middle East being offered on-demand to users around the world. Together with DCConnect, we make it simple, efficient and fast to connect across the region and deploy applications and services. We share a vision of frictionless connectivity delivered via web or API, with no barriers between networks. DCConnect’s orchestration capabilities mean users can build the networks they need with a model that puts them in control of their services,” mentioned Mahesh Jaishankar, CEO at Arc. “We look forward to working together and providing world-class networking to customers around the world.”
Through this partnership, Arc customers can access more than 1,000 data centers and major public cloud players in Europe, North America and APAC.
“Providing simplified access to key hubs in the Middle East offers a tremendous opportunity. For example, a company in Singapore can now quickly activate services and deploy applications to digital hubs in the Middle East through a simple yet powerful networking model. Our partnership with Arc allows more organizations to experience our platform and see how easy it can be to connect and grow across the world. It’s a win-win situation for both of our businesses, and I look forward to growing with Arc,” mentioned Henry Lam, CEO of DCConnect.
By combining the expertise, network capabilities and visions of both companies, Arc and DCConnect are jointly developing further innovative solutions for customers in the Middle East and beyond. Arc and DCConnect customers can now benefit from broader coverage, faster time to market, improved profitability and rapid provisioning from a single supplier.
